White Glove Consultancy was founded by Josephine Gacau — a hospitality professional trained in the USA's most prestigious fine dining environments, equivalent to Michelin-starred standards in Europe. She worked at James Beard Award-recognised Bluebeard Restaurant and high-volume corporate dining at Yard House in Indianapolis, consistently generating USD 2,500+ in section revenue per shift.

Returning to Nairobi, she saw a clear gap: Kenyan hospitality businesses had no access to the kind of floor-level, anonymous performance intelligence that drives real behaviour change. Mystery shopping existed — but it stopped at the report. Nobody fixed what they found.

Will my staff know they're being audited? +
Never. Our auditors arrive as genuine paying guests and conduct themselves exactly as any other customer would. No one on your team is informed before, during or after the visit — the NDA you sign with us protects the anonymity of the process entirely. Even you will not know the exact date until after the visit has occurred.
Who sees the Intelligence Report? +
The report is delivered exclusively to you — the owner or authorised signatory. It is never shared with management, staff or any third party. Every engagement is covered by a mutual NDA. What we find stays between us and you.
What if you find nothing wrong? +
That is a result. A clean audit is documented proof that your operation is performing to standard — something most owners can never say with confidence. We will still identify every revenue opportunity missed, every upsell not taken, every service gap however small. No audit comes back empty.
What do you actually do during the visit? +
We dine as real guests. We order, we pay, we interact with your staff exactly as your customers do. We observe how we are greeted, how our order is taken, how payment is handled, and how situations are managed under different conditions. Our methodology for integrity engagements is proprietary and disclosed only to confirmed clients under NDA — this is intentional. The integrity of the diagnostic depends on it remaining confidential.
How quickly do I get my report? +
Within 72 hours of the final visit day. Every time. The report is a full Intelligence Document — typically 25–30 pages — covering every dimension of the visit, scored against our framework, with specific recommendations and a risk heat map where applicable.
What happens after the report? +
We do not stop at the report. For Level II and above, we return to your property to train your team — in person, on the floor, using findings from your own audit. This is what makes White Glove different from every other mystery shopping service: we do not just tell you what is wrong. We fix it.
Can you work across multiple locations? +
Yes. Multi-location engagements are structured to audit each property independently and then deliver a comparative report showing performance across your entire portfolio. This is particularly valuable for hotel F&B groups, restaurant chains and franchise operations. Pricing is agreed per property with a portfolio discount applied.
I'm worried about staff — not service. Can you focus only on integrity? +
Absolutely. Our standalone Operational Integrity Diagnostic is built for exactly this situation. It focuses entirely on payment compliance, cash handling, bill accuracy, fraud exposure and unsupervised behaviour. The report goes directly to you. We do not speculate — we document behaviour we observe with our own eyes.
